Program Overview

The Hoop Lab Coach's Certification Program is a one-week mentorship and certification experience built for aspiring coaches ready to take the next step. Whether you're fresh out of college, transitioning from playing to coaching, or preparing for your first JV or varsity opportunity, this program provides real experience, professional guidance, and a certification that carries weight.

What You’ll Gain

On-Court Coaching Experience
Work directly with Hoop Lab staff during live camp sessions, leading drills and managing team development.

Leadership Workshops
Daily sessions covering coaching philosophy, communication, culture-building, and skill development.

Mentorship & Evaluation
One-on-one guidance from experienced coaches, personalized feedback, and goal-setting sessions.

Certification
Earn the official Hoop Lab Coach’s Certificate upon completion of all requirements.

Program Requirements

Complete a minimum of 40 hours of structured training

Participate in all camp activities/clinics/ classes and scheduled workshops

Demonstrate growth, initiative, and leadership throughout the week

Prerequisites:

High school diploma (minimum)

Background or experience in the game of basketball
