Summer Program

Note to parents: 
-Please keep players home if they are not feeling well, showing symptoms, or have been exposed to someone that has.
-Drop your child off and wait in your vehicle until they are done. We have not factored parents in our numbers.
-Players are to bring their own basketball and exclusively use their ball
-We can not refund once you have taken an eligible slot.
-More slots may be available once phase to give us more clarification.
-Location will be 179 Merrimon Ave
-Full time Members will not need to register

Summer Day Camp

Ages: 10 and Up
Start Date: June 12 End Date: Aug 9
Availability: Only 10 spots per week available for the Summer. 
​Description: It is our primary aim to teach new skills in fundamentally sound basketball, strength/conditioning and to improve student athlete's abilities in the finer points of basketball. We ensure a better practical understanding and application of the basis of modern day basketball (on both offense and defense) for every individual attending the basketball school. It is our desire not only to develop the high school and college players of tomorrow, but to help all our campers acquire the important ideals of good sportsmanship, leadership and citizenship.
Cost: 250 per week for entire summer *only 10 spots available per week*

High School/College Development Days

Times: Tuesday-Thursday
Women 6:00-7:30
Men 7:00-8:30
Ages 15 and Up
Start Date: June 13 - Aug 8
Designed to hone and refine Advanced Skills in an intensified training environment. Players are challenged to go beyond their comfort level combining skills training with cardio, strength and power emphasis while competing with a survivors mentality. Incorporated into each training session is Ball Handling, Shooting, Core, Verta-Strength, Verta-Skill, competition and Professional Strength and conditioning work.
Cost: $300 for entire summer 10 spots Available or $50 per day

Middle School Development Days

Girls: 6:00-7:30pm
Boys: 7:30-9:00pm
Ages 10 -14
Start Date: June 13 -Aug 7
Description: This program is designed to teach Advanced Skills in an intensified training environment. Players are challenged to go beyond their comfort level combining skills training with cardio, strength and power emphasis. Incorporated into each training session is Ball Handling, Shooting, Core, Verta-Strength, Verta-Skill and Speed Training.
Cost: $300  (Only 10 spots) or $50 per day

SUNDAY SKILL CLASSES

Times: Sundays 3pm-6pm
Ages 10 and Up
Start Date July 2
Only 20 spots available per class.
Description:  Comprised of an individual class per hour, our Sunday classes have their own individual registrations.  The focal classes being held this Summer will be Advanced Ball Handling(3pm), Point Guard Academy(4pm), and Shooting school(5pm).  Each link regarding each class will go in depth on how each class is constructed.
Cost: $100 per class each month.

Hoop Lab Jump-Ability Class
This program is twice a week factored around Bullet proofing the knees and the chains connected to it.  The goal is to increase applicable force, and then safely be able to handle and maintain that force, teaching our bodies how to use it and reaching new potentials.  This program will go over the pillars of jump transformation which are meant to focus on:
-Relative Strength
-Ground up approach.
-Balance
-Bulletproofing
-Technique
-Composition
​-Mobility
-Intentionality

The Warrior Membership

The Warrior membership is the access to the entire Summer Program or the entirety to our schedule.  The entire program has a value of $1600.  We are offering this program for $1000 for the entire Summer!  There is no need to sign up for each individual program just sign up at the link below and register for the summer.

Coach Barber 
Head Boy's Freshman Coach at AC Reynolds and Assistant to Varsity and JV boys.

8+ years of Coaching experience, with time as a Coach at ICI, Team Carolina, and Asheville Catholic.

Prior to coaching played professional basketball in South America, Europe, and Asia for 5 years.  Played college basketball at UNC Asheville and was on the first (and best) UNCA Men's basketball team to make the NCAA tournament in 2003.

Grew up in eastern North Carolina and earned 1st Team All State honors as a senior in high school.

When I am not coaching I enjoy being outside, playing disc golf, and our course time with my family!
